About

Inspired by movement, I vividly express myself as an artist — conducting experiments with forms and emotions. My portfolio reflects collaborations across art, performance, and fashion, where I discover new ways to embody ideas. Utilizing diverse materials and objects, I create work that compels viewers to see the world anew.

My practice explores the intersection of human vulnerability and resilience through movement as a form of personal and social expression. Rooted in improvisation, house dance, and street dance cultures, my work centers on the body as both medium and subject. I experiment with materials and objects, ranging from everyday items to unstable structures. Collaboration plays a central role in my practice, bringing together musicians, designers, galleries, and cultural institutions to create performances that foster dialogue across artistic disciplines and media.

From theater stages in Holland and Germany to gallery floors in Israel, club productions in Russia, and solo experiments in Southeast Asia — the practice moves freely across disciplines and geographies.

House
By Maayan Cohen Marciano · Between Heaven & Earth Festival · Israel
Rooted in the underground clubs of Chicago and New York, house dance is the body's most honest conversation with music. This solo performance strips the technique down to its core — footwork, jacking, lofting — and asks what remains when the crowd disappears and only the dancer and the beat are left.
Distorted Harmony
2025
Distorted Harmony
Solo · Local Festivals · Russia / Georgia
Balloons, as symbols of lightness and illusion, interact with the unpredictable body of an experimental dancer. Harmony is not the goal — it's the point of distortion.
Responsibility
2023
Responsibility
Solo · Kelim Choreography Center · Israel
The fragility of paper becomes a metaphor for responsibility: easy to crumple, hard to restore. Krumping and flexing reflect an inner struggle for control, integrity, and truth.
Lagom
2014–2017
Lagom
Tanzfestival Bielefeld · FashionClash Holland · Diversia Russia
Clothing as a boundary between the personal and the social. House dancers search for balance — "not too much, not too little," just enough.
Don't Need
2019
Don't Need
Solo · Open Your Mind Festival · Holland
Lemons and a boy create a scene of everyday absurdity and resistance to imposed norms. The dance plays on contrast: the sourness of lemons against the taste of victory, the body defying gravity.
Watering A Flower
2017–2018
Watering A Flower
By Simon Bus · PandP Theater · Open Your Mind Festival · Holland
A fabricated love story built from synthesized memories and ambient cassette music. Two dancers construct and deconstruct intimacy in real time — tender, strange, and slightly off-tune.
Colors and Movements
2019
Colors & Movements
Exhibition + Workshop · Horace Richter Gallery · Israel
Dance meets visual art inside a gallery. Bodies respond to painted surfaces, colour fields become choreographic scores. A live experiment where movement and image are inseparable.
